Celebrities in Spanx

Princess Beatrice is immaculately dressed (as always) and a invasive photographer has snapped her shapewear, but what is wrong with wearing proper foundation garments. Her grandmother and great-grandmother (and quite probably mother) all wore proper foundation garments. In fact, an article from the Spirella house magazine of July 1960 quotes:

A client of Mrs. C of Birmingham, was recently presented to the Queen Mother. "I was wearing a 515 corset and a 384 brassiere and felt as confident and as well corsetted as the Queen Mother herself," remarked the client.

Dedra Messing, Molly Shannon, Kim Kardashian and Lily Allen in informal poses.

Beyonce, Jennifer Garner, Tyra Banks, Mindy Kalling and Denise Welch don't really care. Kris Jenner might care if she knew what that flash revealed.

Tina Fey disrobes on TV whilst Rachel Bloom parodies the 'Sexy Getting Ready Song' from 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' with a song about her shapewear called 'Sexy Golden Globey Song' at the end of which she suddenly says "I can't breathe". She even reprises the performance live on stage.

Tamara Braxton gets interviewed in her Spanx and Paloma Elsesser covers all.

Rose Byrne, the Australian actress, shows off her top-of-the-range Spanx that she wore to the Met Gala. The girdle (let's not beat about the bush here) is un-boned and un-zippered, however, as a token nod to the panty-girdles of the 1960s, there is detailing reminiscent of the satin panels that used to be such a glorious feature of these garments.
